One Year Today

July 2, 2009 | Everyday Life

It’s officially my one year anniversary as a full time Electrical Engineer :) I remember my very first day at work and it was awesome! 4 weeks later, I got moved to Louisiana where I’ve been ever since. Funny thing is, I was supposed to be in Louisiana for four weeks which interestingly has turned into 10 months. Yup! Engineering projects are never predictable. Anything can happen and you definitely have to be opened to move with the flow. I am loving it! I’ve met a lot of people. I work with the most amazing project team. We are like a small family. Thank God for jobs even in the current economic situation.

Here’s one of my all time favorite images. I shot it during my graduation ceremony last year for OU’s yearbook. Everything about this image is just perfect!

Live life to the fullest.

The Band

June 29, 2009 | Everyday Life

Here’s a band that plays some pretty cool music down in the French Quarters in New Orleans. They are pretty awesome. I wanted to show how important it is for these guys to go home with a little “something” in their box after a long day of performing. After all, this is how they get paid and survive till the next gig. If you come across people like this, give them a little “something”. They will truly appreciate it.

Have a nice week :)
