This is Weston. He’s originally from Santa Fe, New Mexico but moved to New Orleans last year. He’s been playing the eucalele for about a year and he’s also an incredible guitar player. It was fun chatting with him.
I love including some digital noise in my black and whites

Meet Tyrone. He’s a New Orleans resident and loves to enjoy life! I was immediately drawn to him when I saw the smiley face balloon around he’s neck and the fact that he was rocking a sweater in the 89°F humid weather which felt more like 94°F. I was able to talk to him for a few minutes to get to know more about him, which also led me to meeting one of his friends. He’s such an interesting character and he also likes when people take photos of him It was definitely great hanging with this cool dude!
I am including him in my project which I am having a swell time with because I get to meet a lot of cool people. They are ordinary people you probably won’t want to talk to if you see them passing by but, meeting people like this to me is very exciting. It gives me the opportunity to connect with them not only as a photographer but as a person and I think it is way too cool.

Personal Project

I am currently working on a personal project for the next few months. It’ll be based in the French Quarter (New Orleans) and will tell the stories of people like the man you see in the image below. I’m still getting some details hashed out but for now I know I’ll be shooting a whole lot of images and get to interview lots of people. I am not taking any wedding commissions for now due to my engineering career and will focus more on getting this project completed before the end of the summer while I am in New Orleans.
I’ll try to update the blog when I can.
